So what's up with our name and how do you pronounce it?

CentriPedal is not a real word. It’s a combination of the words CentripeTal and Pedal.

cen·trip·e·tal [sen-trip-i-tl] is an adjective that means directed toward the center (opposed to centrifugal) as in operating by centripetal force.  Simply put, it’s the inward force exerted towards the middle of a rotating object and is part of reason why one can balance while riding a bicycle.

How do you pronounce “centripedal?”  Like Centripetal: [sen-TRIP-i-dl]

There you have it!

Alex is our Service Manager.  He probably owns every bicycle tool that exists.  Trained in Shimano, SRAM, and Campognolo, he loves to work on bikes and nurse them back to health.  He has worked in many parts of the industry and raced for Team Fremont.  He love's 80's rock.

Bicycle Mechanic - Dan is back!  One of our original team members has moved back to the area and is wrenching for us again.  An avid cyclist and lover of good coffee Dan is happy to get your bike back in top condition.  He's our newest "guy with the beard." Baseball is his second love.  If you don't want to talk bikes then bring up the SF Giants.
